Tasmanian Government Information Management Framework
The Office of the State Archivist (OSA) is leading the development of an Information Management Framework for the Tasmanian Government. The Framework identifies and defines the various components which contribute to effective information management.
The Framework is aligned to whole of government policy and strategies issued by the
Office of eGovernment, including ICT Strategy, and Information Security Policy (to be revised). For effective implementation the Framework will be supported by Information Standards and toolkits.
The Framework is not static. It will evolve to meet future needs, and in response to stakeholder feedback. Dotted lines at the Policy level indicate proposed (Information, Archives Collecting) or yet to be endorsed (Cybersecurity) policies.
During 2018, OSA will be engaging with a range of stakeholders across government to ensure the framework is fit for purpose.
We will publish exposure drafts on our website and invite comments. Please
contact us with your questions and feedback.
